Amanda has over 18 years of experience in the areas of dispute resolution & litigation, environment & planning law and local government law. Amanda has experience managing large commercial and planning matters in all NSW Courts and Tribunals, including the Local, District and Supreme Courts, the Land & Environment Court and the Court of Appeal, as well as the Federal Circuit Courts.
Amanda acts for a broad range of corporate and individual clients in relation to general commercial issues and disputes including contracts, trade practices, negligence/torts, personal injury, insolvency, bankruptcy, debt recovery, defamation, employment, and trade-marks/intellectual property.
Amanda acts for and advises developers and property owners in environment, planning and property related litigation & disputes and issues including:
Defenses to environmental prosecutions, planning appeals/disputes, objector appeals, contaminated land, dangerous goods, tree disputes, boundary fences, easements, planning advice and development applications, merit appeals and administrative appeals, land valuation disputes, council rates disputes, heritage, climate change, major projects, strata disputes, water law, Environmental Impact Statements and Reviews of Environmental Factors, resources law issues, in particular coal seam gas exploration and land access.
